NEARBY ATTRACTIONS

Margaritaville

Turquoise waters summon you to the shores of Jamaica’s second largest city and first choice for fun, Montego Bay. From your resort or cruise ship, journey to the heart of MoBay’s Hip Strip by bus, taxi, catamaran—even foot—for an exhilarating daylong retreat the whole family will enjoy. Classic Americana and authentic jerk dishes served with a side of Island time. Ice-cold drinks paired with red-hot fun, and panoramic views of the Caribbean that offer unlimited opportunities for heart-pumping water sports from our aqua park.

Doctor’s Cave Beach

Doctor’s Cave Beach is a popular destination for tourists and families. It’s named after Dr. Alexander James McCatty, who donated the property to the public in 1906. The beach’s popularity increased after British doctor Sir Herbert Barker wrote an article claiming the water had healing properties.

Rick’s Cafe Negril

RICK’S CAFE was the first public bar and restaurant of its type on the West End Cliffs, offering an alternative to Negril’s majestic seven mile beach. From the beginning, Rick’s Cafe boasted an unrivaled view of the sunset from its naturally formed cliffs. Over the years, visitors and locals alike have designated Rick’s Cafe as Negril’s premier gathering spot and our sunsets have become a Jamaican tradition. It’s been famous for two things: the best sunset on this side of the Jamaican coast and cliff diving.

Dunns River Falls

At about 180 feet (55 m) high and 600 feet (180 m) long, the waterfalls are terraced like giant natural stairs though some incorporate man-made improvements. Several small lagoons are interspersed among the vertical sections of the falls.
The falls empty into the Caribbean Sea at the western end of an attractive white-sand beach.
Climbing the waterfalls is a popular tourist activity and is often, but not exclusively, performed with the help of tour guides from the park. It takes about 1-1.5 hours to climb with short breaks for photographs & video recordings taken by the guides. There are also stairs, alongside of the falls, for those who do not want to get wet or are unable to manage the rocky, uneven terrain of the actual waterfall.
